new(ish) stuff

Just a not-so-recent project I designed – baby shower invitations for a dear friend. I kind of got to go crazy with this one since I was one of the hosts of the event. I knew I didn't want to do something too ordinary or sugary sweet and loved adding in all the hand-drawn elements and type. It turned out fun and bright – just like the guest of honor herself!

Some of the new designs I'm working on are based around hand-drawn sketches of flowers and other spring-summer pretty things. This is one of the preliminary ideas. Can't wait to show you the final products!

modern baby shower

Well, finally got a chance to enter another design contest at minted – a site that features fun and creative invitation and stationery lines from independent designers.
